PÖFF 2024 Locks Official Selection Competition Titles

11 world premieres and 7 international premieres to compete under the leadership of Christoph Hochhäusler’s jury.

The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF), one of Northern Europe’s largest film festivals, has finalized the Official Selection Competition lineup for its 28th edition, which runs Nov. 8–24 in Tallinn, Estonia. German filmmaker Christoph Hochhäusler has been tapped to lead the main jury.

This year’s Official Selection features 18 films from 23 countries, including 11 world premieres and seven international premieres. Four titles were previously announced, with 14 additional entries completing the competition slate.

Joining Hochhäusler on the jury are producer Bianca Balbuena (Philippines), producer Marija Razgutė (Lithuania), director Jawad Rhalib (France), and director Tomas Vengris (Lithuania). Winners will be revealed at the festival’s closing ceremony, with the Grand Prix carrying a €20,000 prize from the city of Tallinn.
