The European Film Academy has unveiled the nominees for the Short Film category of the 37th European Film Awards, which has been renamed “European Short Film – Prix Vimeo” following a new partnership with Vimeo, now the exclusive title sponsor for the section.
The category, organized in collaboration with film festivals across Europe, highlights short films selected by independent juries at each participating festival. This year’s shortlist was drawn from an initial pool of 28 candidates, with five titles advancing to the final nomination stage.
The nominated films for the “European Short Film – Prix Vimeo” are:
- “2720,” director: Basil da Cunha (Portugal, Switzerland)
- “Clamor,” director: Salomé Da Souza (France)
- “The Exploding Girl,” director: Caroline Poggi and Jonathan Vinel (France)
- “The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent,” director: Nebojša Slijepčević (Croatia, France, Bulgaria, Slovenia)
- “Wander to Wonder,” director: Nina Gantz (The Netherlands, France, Belgium, United Kingdom)

The 37th European Film Awards ceremony will take place Dec. 7 in Lucerne, Switzerland, and will be streamed live on europeanfilmawards.eu.
